Use Gelnique Gel
This medication is used to treat overactive bladder. Gelnique Gel improves your ability to control urination by relaxing the bladder muscle. This helps to reduce leaking of urine, feeling the need to urinate right away, and frequent trips to the bathroom. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as antispasmodics.
How to use Gelnique Gel
Read patient leaflet information provided by your pharmacist before you start using oxybutynin and every time you get a refill. If you have any questions regarding the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands and the area of skin where the gel will be applied with mild soap and water. Allow area to dry completely before applying. Apply gel 1 package (about the size of nickel), and is aimed at part of the skin on the shoulders / arms, abdomen, thighs or usually once daily or as directed by your doctor. Do not apply gel to open wounds, areas with a rash, newly shaved, irritated or oily skin, or where lotions or powders are applied. Gently rub into the skin until it dries. Missed dose Gelnique Gel
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing. Do not double the dose to catch up.
